Our Story
Tuttle Layton Consulting LLC was born from a shared passion for helping business owners take control of their finances. With roots in the Tuttle family's decades-long accounting practice and Christina Layton's dedicated bookkeeping expertise, our firm brings together the best of both worlds: high-level CPA knowledge and hands-on, detail-oriented financial management.

Donna Tuttle
CPA, Partner
Donna is a founding partner of Tuttle Layton Consulting LLC and a Certified Public Accountant with over 20 years of experience in tax and accounting. She graduated with honors from San Diego State University with a degree in Accounting and began her career at Deloitte, where she specialized in working with small and emerging businesses. Donna has extensive hands-on experience in all phases of accounting, bookkeeping, and tax preparation for individuals as well as corporations, partnerships, trusts, and estates. She has served as Controller for companies in the service and manufacturing sectors and is a QuickBooks expert who has helped numerous businesses organize their accounting and financial reporting. She previously grew a CPA practice in Northern California from 135 to over 500 clients. Outside of work, Donna is an active volunteer in church and civic organizations, a runner who has completed several half marathons, and enjoys reading and traveling.

Terry Tuttle
CPA, Partner
Terry is a founding partner of Tuttle Layton Consulting LLC and a Certified Public Accountant. He earned his degree from Brigham Young University and began his career at Deloitte, where he earned his CPA designation. His expertise spans individual and corporate taxation, business consulting, and financial restructuring. Prior to establishing his current practice, Terry held senior executive roles as CFO, COO, and Controller at both public and private companies, where he focused on enhancing profitability through mergers and acquisitions, operational cost reductions, and strategic restructuring. He spent 12 years as a CPA firm partner, growing a personal practice from 135 to over 500 clients, and also founded Weston & Tuttle Wealth Advisors, specializing in financial planning and wealth management. Terry enjoys outdoor pursuits including white-water rafting, running, marathons, and mountaineering.
Christina Layton
Certified Bookkeeper, Partner
Christina is a founding partner of Tuttle Layton Consulting LLC with over seven years of experience helping businesses manage their bookkeeping and accounting needs. She studied accounting at Utah Valley University and is a Certified Bookkeeper and QuickBooks ProAdvisor. She also spent several years working at Tuttle & Tuttle PLLC, a CPA firm, where she gained valuable hands-on experience alongside her formal training. Christina works in all phases of bookkeeping, including account reconciliations, financial statement preparation, accounts payable and accounts receivable management, invoicing and billing support, and ongoing accounting oversight. She specializes in QuickBooks and frequently assists clients with cleanups, troubleshooting, and building organized systems that make their financial information clear and manageable. She values being available and responsive, and works closely with clients to answer questions and provide practical support. Outside of work, Christina enjoys reading, working on creative projects, and spending time with her husband, Stephen, and their son, Felix.
